Welcome to Embodiment Coaching with
Sarah Barker

With over 20 years of experience in adult education, a two-decade meditation practice, and 125 hours of embodiment coaching training, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my coaching services. Each coaching experience begins with an initial assessment to define your short-term and long-term goals, ensuring a tailored approach to your development. The tools we use in these sessions are based on the training I received as a Certified Embodiment Coach with Embodiment Unlimited.

My Services

Initial Consulting Session

Approximately 30 minutes

We’ll begin with an overview of embodiment coaching
and then discuss your background, current situation, goals, and expectations. I’ll talk to you about how embodiment coaching might support your goals, and then we’ll spend about 10 minutes exploring a simple breathing exercise or body scan together. After our practice session, I’ll get your feedback about how it went during the experience, and we’ll discuss integrating embodiment practices into your daily life and aligning them with your goals.

Our initial consultation serves a dual purpose. It’s a time for you to understand the essence of embodiment coaching and for us to determine if we are a good fit for each other. This period helps assess your readiness for coaching and ensures that our partnership will be effective and beneficial.

One-On-One Coaching Session

Approximately 45 minutes

There are two approaches to working together:

  1. Regular Sessions: We can establish a consistent schedule, such as weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions, to support ongoing progress and development.

  2. As-Needed Sessions: Alternatively, you can opt for a more flexible arrangement with individual sessions scheduled as needed, based on your specific needs and circumstances..

Small Group Session

One to 1.5 hours

A group embodiment session typically begins with a warm welcome and brief introduction. Then I’ll lead participants through an exercise to establish present-moment awareness, helping everyone become centered and focused.

The core of the session involves guided embodiment practices, such as body scans, mindful movement, or breath awareness, to deepen participants’ connection with their bodies and sensations. Following the practice, there is a brief break for reflection and relaxation.

Participants then come together for group sharing and discussion, where they reflect on their experiences and insights. The session concludes with practical tips for integrating these practices into daily life and setting personal goals. The facilitator wraps up with a summary and information on future sessions or resources.
